Vestal Volunteer Emergency Squad, Inc. plays a vital role in the community. We go beyond the day to day 911 calls and provide additional services to the community, such as CPR, First Aid, basic medical lectures, and school tours. Listed below you will find a brief summary of what each of the services consist of. If there is something that you feel VVES can help you with and don’t see, please contact us.
CPR is available for groups of any size, either onsite at our Squad room or at your business/workplace, etc. We offer instruction with or without use of AED depending on your needs.
Ambulance Tours and Childen’s Programs:
We provide hands-on fun and educational Ambulance Tours and programs geared to your specific needs. Our goal is to get as many young children exposed to the world of EMS as possible and to teach them how to stay safe.
It is important for the elderly to have all their medications and medical history in one location in the event that they need to use our services. This allows the EMS crew to accurately assess the patient and provide them the best care possible. For this reason we offer File of Life folders that allow for the organization of medications, past medical problems, and personal information. A small fee may be charged. We are also willing to set up events for groups that help fill these cards out as well as offer blood pressure screenings.
If you are interested in a program above or have something else in mind, please contact us.
