Membership

We are accepting applications for membership. Anyone interested in joining should download an application, write to us requesting an application, or visiting us at our squad room (we are located at 324 Myrtle Street off of Vestal Road, about a half mile west of Wal-Mart).

All submitted applications and written requests for an application should have “Membership” in the attention line of the letter. All paid paramedic position inquiries should be directed to the Chief or Assistant Chief – Operations.

Previous training is not required. Accepted applicants will be trained as required (with board approval as deemed necessary) for intended position. A mandatory physical and drivers license check are completed on each prospective applicant.

Once accepted, Crew members are required to run at least two shifts per month in order to maintain active membership status. A typical shift is 4-6 hours long.
