The Vestal Volunteer Emergency Squad offers a variety of classes for those with an interest in making a difference in time of need. As an American Safety and Health Institute affiliated training center, our agency has highly qualified instructors to assist those with an interest in the listed courses below achieve the goals.
Courses Offered : Babysitting Classes , Basic First Aid , CPR and AED , CPR for the Professional Rescuer (RN, LPN , EMT , PHYSICIANS ) , Wilderness First Aid 16 hour course ,
Pediatric First Aid CPR and AED, and ACLS and PALS (ASHI)
For basic CPR and AED skills, this course teaches skills such as giving CPR to an infant, child, or an adult, and using an AED (Automatic External Defibrillator). Class length 3-4 hours
Basic Life Support/Basic Life Support for Healthcare Professionals 4.5
Cost of Classes: CPR -AED, CPR -PRO $30.00 Basic First Aid $30.00
Basic First Aid -CPR -AED $60.00 Baby Sitting Course $25.00 (must have at least 5 to fill a class)
Pediatric First Aid /CPR -AED $60.00 Wildland First Aid $ 75.00 16 hour courses
